A message from Lionel

I have conducted over 700 civil marriage ceremonies in the ACT, South Coast, Brisbane as well as throughout the NSW mid north coast from Lismore to Hungry Head and especially in the Coffs Harbour area.

Every Ceremony has been very special in its own way. If you would like to be married in the Coffs Harbour region there are beautiful out door settings from rain forests to beaches, gardens & headlands. For indoor ceremonies we have unique resort chapels, small churches and special function rooms.

I will gladly assist you in choosing your special location and a ceremony that will convey your heartfelt emotion towards each other on your wedding day.

Marriage ceremonies should be meaningful and special. I always provide assistance so you can personalise your ceremony to make it what you both want. This can be done at personal meetings, telephone, fax or email.

My ceremony information pack contains sample ceremonies together with readings and many alternatives for your vows, rings, giving away and all other parts of your ceremony.

Important

Remember it is necessary to complete a Notice of Intended Marriage form. Normally this Notice must then be lodged with a marriage celebrant at least one full calendar month before your ceremony. It will also be necessary for the celebrant to sight originals of your Birth Certificates. (Additional original documents will also need to be provided if you have been previously married.)

What I Offer

• My ceremonies are always conducted with professionalism and dignity.

• My own Ceremony Guide Booklet allows you to easily design and personalize your own ceremony or adapt one of a number of model ceremonies to your own requirements.

• A keepsake of your ceremonies is printed on special type paper and is presented to the bride and groom as their own record.

• All documentation and registration requirements are attended to for you. Assistance will also be provided to enable you to order if you wish, a Marriage Certificate/s from the NSW Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages without the need to provide the 3 forms of identification normally required.

• Your marriage certificate is prepared in a calligraphy type font and laser printed.
• Friendly assistance will be provided on all aspects of your ceremony.

• Ceremonies can be traditional or different in a variety of ways.

• Should you wish to arrange any special inclusions they can generally be easily made part of your ceremony. Examples include a unity candle ceremony; the release of doves/butterflies, participation of your Church Minister or Priest to provide a blessing and/or lead prayers; ceremonial plantings and the like. I will be happy to provide advice on any of these inclusions.

• A practice prior to the ceremony is recommended and included in the fee.

• A portable stereo CD player and/or signing table is available if required.

• A personal PA system is used for locations with high levels of background noise such as the ocean.

• You may choose your own location and time.
